NEW OWNER & RENAMING ANNOUNCED FOR WEST HAVEN RESTAURANT
WEST HAVEN, CT: – The former Beef and Brew Pub is open under new ownership; with a new
name.
Brendan Snow, a former patron and employee of Beef and Brew Pub, which was previously
Savin Rock Roasting Company, recently purchased the restaurant and has completed
renovations. It will be renamed The Breakwall.
Snow has over twenty years experience in the hospitality industry, including taking on
management roles for the last decade in and around southern Connecticut.
Featuring an open floor plan, The Breakwall offers flexible seating for large and small
gatherings, a designated area for live music and space for private parties in the newly renovated
dining area.
Snow is excited to present some of the best in regional and national music talent. Focused on
fostering an artist-friendly environment while creating an intimate and uniquely special
experience for their guests.
Confirmed musical events include performances by Connecticut State Troubadour Kala
Farnham and The New England Music Awards’ 2022 Songwriter of The Year, Frank Viele, the
widely celebrated Lone Gnome Benny Mikula and so many more. With a focus on diversity and
quality, the hand selected music calendar pairs perfectly with the inviting atmosphere and
meticulously crafted menu.
The menu will feature incredible dishes created by Snow and head chef Julio Morales, some
classics from Savin Rock and unique specials showcased every other Friday.
The Breakwall will be adding a late-night menu, Happy Hour and Sunday Brunch in the coming
weeks. Carry-out-catering and in-house private parties are available for any event.
Snow says, “my goal is to provide high quality food, craft cocktails and live music to create an
atmosphere that makes people feel good, and happy with their decision to come and spend
their time with us.”
The Breakwall is open and operating.
There will be a ribbon cutting Wednesday, July 19 at 4:00pm
