Greetings from the President

On behalf of the entire Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce team, I extend my warmest greetings as we look ahead to 2026 with optimism, purpose, and renewed energy.

Our commitment to fostering growth, embracing new opportunities, and steadfastly supporting our local businesses remains unwavering. Over the past year, the Chamber delivered more than 200 networking, educational, and signature events, serving a membership of 750+ businesses representing every size and sector across Milford, West Haven, and the surrounding region. We proudly produced 12 free community concerts, hosted 50+ ribbon cuttings celebrating new and expanding businesses, and continued to strengthen the connections that make our region vibrant and resilient. Reflecting on these accomplishments and the lessons that shaped us in 2025, it’s clear that the year ahead is filled with opportunity.

As we move into 2026, our top priority remains clear: supporting local businesses. These enterprises are the backbone of our regional economy and the heartbeat of our communities. We remain focused on equipping them with the tools, resources, visibility, and advocacy they need to grow, adapt, and succeed in an ever-changing marketplace.

A key part of that commitment is the continued expansion of our Lunch & Learn series, which has become a cornerstone of our small business education efforts. These sessions are designed to deliver practical insights, real-world strategies, and expert guidance to help entrepreneurs and business owners navigate today’s challenges and opportunities. Through ongoing learning and connection, we’re helping build stronger, more resilient businesses throughout our region. If you’re interested in participating or learning more about this program in 2026, please reach out to Simon McDonald at smcdonald@milfordct.com

We’re also excited about the many new opportunities 2026 will bring. From expanded programming and innovative networking experiences to new strategic partnerships and signature initiatives, our focus is on creating meaningful value for our members while amplifying the visibility and vitality of our local business community. Our goal is to cultivate an ecosystem where businesses don’t just survive, but truly thrive, where collaboration, creativity, and commerce intersect.

As your Chamber, we remain committed to being your advocate, connector, and partner in progress. Your success is our success, and together we enter this new year with confidence, collaboration, and a shared vision for a stronger region.

I encourage you to stay engaged, take advantage of the opportunities ahead, and continue working alongside us as we shape thriving, dynamic business communities throughout Milford and West Haven.

Here’s to a year of growth, innovation, and unwavering support for local business.

Thank you, as always, for your trust and partnership.

Warm regards,

Michael Moses
