Pam is a voice for business. She sponsored, on behalf of local shellfishers, the protection of Connecticut's coastal shellfish beds and spawning grounds helping to preserve a significant contributor to our local economy; and, Milford has fast become a craft-brewery hub in part because of the Farm Brewery bill that she supported which fueled partnerships between farms and breweries, and created jobs.
She has also been a leader in Milford's non-profit community. Pam co-founded the Milford Prevention Council, worked for United Way of Milford, was President of Milford's Promise, supports the Boys and Girls Club of Milford, and volunteered for the Rape Crisis Center. As the daughter of a Navy Veteran, she has been a persistent voice for service member and veteran organizations.
Her advocacy has been recognized by the Coalition of Shellfishers, the Radiological Society of CT, the CT Podiatric Medical Association, the American Legion, and the CT Coalition Against Domestic Violence. In addition, she has received the CT Yankee Council of Boy Scouts Good Scout award and the United Way Champion of Caring award.
Before moving to Connecticut, she spent over ten years as a cost accountant for Kransco, the manufacturer of the hula hoop and Frisbee. In that time, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Old Dominion University.
Pam joined the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce in February of 2019. She believes the chamber is a community connector and welcomes the opportunity to work with our outstanding membership, committees, and legislative leaders in not only continuing what the chamber already offers its members but also in finding new and innovative ways to promote our businesses and the communities we serve.
Pam lives in Milford with her husband and their two dachshunds. She enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren and sampling from Milford's many ice cream shops.
